Ken Paul Rosenthal is an independent filmmaker, educator and activist who makes films that exist as works of art and also function as tools for personal and societal transformation. His current projects are poetic mental health documentaries that weave personal and political narratives through natural and urban landscapes, home movies, and archival mental hygiene films. He is the recipient of a Kodak Cinematography Award, numerous festival awards, and frequently recognized for his media work in mental health advocacy. Ken holds an MA in Creative & Interdisciplinary Arts and an MFA in Cinema Production. He presents Crooked Beauty screening lectures in peer support networks, hospitals, universities, art schools, symposia, and community events worldwide.

Angel Vasquez is an award-winning producer and internationally established filmmaker working in television and theatrical feature-length documentary and narrative productions. He is a 2009/2010 National Association of Television Programming Executives Fellow and Princess Grace Foundation Film Award recipient. Angel's credits include ‘Colma: The Musical’ (Roadside Attractions/Lions Gate), ‘Cachao: Uno Mas!’ (American Masters Series PBS and Latino Public Broadcasting, 2010), and ‘Turning Point’, (WGTE-PBS, 2009).

Jacks McNamara is a gender queer artist, writer, activist, organizer, designer, educator, and performer. Jacks is a co-founder of The Icaurus Project, a radical mental health support network and media project by and for people living with the dangerous gifts that our society commonly labels as "mental illness." Since 2004 Jacks has spoken, facilitated workshops, and performed across the US, Canada, and Europe, at venues ranging from the US Social Forum and the UK Feminist Health Gathering to numerous universities, queer art spaces, high schools, and activist centers.

Monteith McCollum is an independent filmmaker and musician. His best known work Hybrid, has garnered 14 festival awards in addition to the IFP/Direct TV truer than fiction Spirit Award and the New York Foundation for the Arts Prize. His films have screened at SXSW, the MOMA Premieres series, and nationally on PBS. Monteith received a Rockefeller fellowship, and a NYFA Fellowship for music composition, composes film music for his own work and other independent filmmakers. He teaches film and video production at the Cinema Department, Binghamton University.

Bonfire Madigan Shive is a visionary cellist, vocalist, composer, and community activist. Her music blends folk, art, punk, classical and avant-baroque styles. She has collaborated with many influential artists such as Neko Case, Jolie Holland, and Elliot Smith. Recent commissions include an original score composed and performed for ACT’s 'Tis Pity She's a Whore, and London’s Barbican Hall Twisted Christmas program. Madigan is a contributing author to Live Through This: On Creativity and Self-Destruction, and is a founding collective member of The Icarus Project.
